Important notice: errors in transcription

The Tithe Applotment Books were transcribed and indexed by our partners, the Genealogical Society of Utah, who microfilmed the records many years ago. The National Archives has created an error transcription facility on the site so that our users can report name mistranscriptions, and these will then be amended online as soon as possible. Errors with regard to location of parishes in counties will also be rectified as soon as possible. Notification of these can be emailed to query@nationalarchives.ie
